The City of Barrie proudly presents Barrie Winterfest each year, one of the Top 100 Festivals & Events in Ontario! Barrie Skiing & Snowboarding 

Hardwood Ski & Bike Playground

Hardwood Ski & Bike has over 40km of beautiful trails that run through incredible forests of pine and hardwood trees. With eight loops ranging from 3km to 22km, there’s non-stop skiing and snowshoeing fun for the whole family (ages three and up). This outdoor playground also offers a yummy café, a service shop for your rental skis and snowshoes, and more!

Snow Valley Ski Resort 

Snow Valley Ski Resort, named the “Best Ontario Hill for Kids” by Ski Canada Magazine is designed to provide something for all families with a variety of interests. With shopping, dining, and accommodations, you can ski, snowboard, or tube down Snow Valley’s many hills.

Horseshoe Resort 

Horseshoe Resort is located just twenty minutes north of Barrie and features 29 runs with a terrain park with 20 features and 40km of trails. Accessible to experienced and beginner skiers, Horseshoe offers tubing, skiing, snowboarding, aerobic exercise programming, and more.

The MacLaren Art Centre
